Module

Restoring Military Equipment after Iraq

Author: Matt Bennett and Scott Payne
In The National Security Program

Abstract

This module addresses the equipment shortages the military will face after Iraq and recommends funding to restore our Army, Marines and National Guard.

Description

Five years of war in Iraq have heavily strained the Army, Marines and National Guard. There have already been significant equipment shortages, but the military faces even more on the horizon. This module calls for Congressional action to begin resetting and rebuilding the United States military so it once again has the equipment needed to protect America. This module lays out the problem, outlines how to respond and provides suggestions to roll out your plan to the public.
